Siri Says Nokia Lumia 900 is The Best Smartphone

This is not really any official news or anything just something I found a fun video about something Siri says on the iPhone 4S. All credits for the video goes to mikyzok. Of course I am not much of a supporter of either Apple or Nokia but this is still weird.  

According to the video "Apple's Siri thinks the Nokia Lumia 900 is the best smartphone ever". Anyway here is the video below.

It is not that Siri thinks that Lumia 900 is the best smartphone in the world but actually the result pops up because of Wolfram Alpha. Wolfram Alpha cross references user reviews from around the world and based on that gives an answer which in this case led to Siri saying such things.(As per Gizmodo)

Apple Mobile Phone News

Perhaps responding to the news that Nokia has fallen behind Apple as the leading smartphone manufacturer worldwide, the head of the design department at Nokia – Marko Ahtisaari - has assured users of Nokia phones that the company is determined to create a mobile handset which will render all others on the market – including the iPhone – practically obsolete. The head of Nokia Design was being interviewed by a website based in Finland (called Kauppalehti), when he made the remarks and he further indicated that he was unimpressed with the interfaces available on the phones currently available on the market. Ahtisaari referred to the present conception of mobile phone interfaces as being ‘outdated’ which suggests that the company has plans for radical redevelopment and innovation in this area, aimed at completely altering the way in which the users of Nokia phones interact with their mobiles. 

Ahtisaari gave some hint of what he may have in mind with these remarks, at Le Web last year, when he indicated that he thought that the future of mobile phones would involve not heads down staring at the screen, but heads up – possibly meaning a heads up display (HUD) to which content is piped – a concept that a number of major companies, including both Microsoft and Google appear to be trying to develop at the moment. Ahtisaari did not give details of what these future plans for Nokia phones are, but he did give clear indications that the company is developing plans that it hopes will steal this initiative back from Apple – something which is likely to require some serious innovation if they are to achieve it. This will be welcome news to loyal users of Nokia phones and to anyone interested in the benefits that everyone derives from healthy competition and who has been disappointed by the recent failure of Nokia to keep pace with Apple mobile phones.

Downgrade iPhone 4S And iPad 2 iOS 5.1 to 5.0.1 Achieved By iH8Sn0w

iOS Developer iH8Sn0w has found a way to downgrade iPhone 4S and iPad 2 from iOS 5.1 to iOS 5.0.1. The method is not yet available for public use but you can expect it to be out soon. He tweeted about it recently. The Sn0wbreeze developer has finally found this loophole that will allow iPhone 4S and iPad 2 users to switch back to iOS 5.0.1 so that they can use a Jail-broken firmware again. The other iOS Devices are relatively easier to downgrade but the A5 processor powered devices have become more stubborn because of Apple's efforts. The updates to iOS 5.1 do not really cause any error in the device. but for some users using a device which not jail broken is not an option.

You can expect iH8Sn0w to release the method out to the public soon but until then you can only wait. If you have Cydia there is a chance that your SHSH blobs were saved and you can downgrade but if you ran out of luck and they are not available then all you can do is wait for this release. There is not much news about the downgrade but as soon as any comes out or when the tutorial is available hit us up for it.

How To Install Siri On Any iOS Device

Siri has been generating quite a lot of buzz for Apple ever since she/it has been introduced into iOS. Sadly all iOS devices don't officially have Siri but there are a lot of talented developers out there and they have found ways to get Siri up and running on iOS Devices that do not support Siri as yet. Without further delay here is how you can install Siri on your Non iPhone 4S Device. It will work on any iOS Device.

Here is how you can Install Siri On any iOS Device.

1. Firstly you will need a device that is already Jail-broken. If it isn't you cannot continue this tutorial. This tutorial should help you to do it in case you already haven't jail-broken your iOS Device.
2. Next go to Cydia and download and install i4Siri and also install Spire Tweak.
3. Open i4Siri and go to Settings then General then Siri. In the settings menu find Spiral Tab then enter this  https://i4sirifree.moo.com/. 
4. Now just visit this link and install the certificate.
