The Greenpois0n RC5 Beta 4 has been released by the Chronic Dev team and is now available for both Windows and Mac OS X. This tool can be used to jailbreak iOS 4.2.6 as the Verizon iPhone 4 runs on it. pod2g has posted a Verizon iPhone running Cydia on his twitter account recently.
