PCSX2 is an emulator which allows you to play Playstation 2 games on your PC. Though the games are not of high end graphics, making them run smoothly with PCSX2 is a very hard job even with a graphic card! You wont get enough frames to make it run smoothly even if the game looks like rubbish! Make PCSX2 run smoother and faster on your computer with these simple tricks!

• PCSX2 is an unstable software and hence requires a powerful system configuration say 2 GB of RAM and 512 MB of graphics to run smoothly.
• Get a faster DVD drive. The more faster PCSX2 reads the game disk, faster will be the game.
• Update your System drivers which includes installing the latest graphic drivers and updating the DirectX.
• Experiment with the frame speed. Limiting the frame speed might increase the speed of the game. It can be found under the CPU menu in the Configuration menu.
• Change the sound settings b navigating to Config->Sound and then uncheck "Effects Processing". Also disable Time Stretching and Time Expansion to increase the performance.This can slightly alter the graphics quality of the game.
• Disable the debugging window by deselecting "Enable Console" in the Configuration menu.
