Change Display Name in Gtalk and Gmail

Changing the chat name in Gtalk, Gmail and Orkut chat has driven me crazy for a long while, until I found out the solution today. I was frustrated because Google did not provide any option in Gmail's settings to change this. Just try the simple trick below to change the display name in Gtalk, Gmail or Orkut Chat. 

• Go to your Google Accounts from this link.
• Click on "Edit Profile" and change your first name and last name to the desired name which you want to display in chat and click "save changes".
• Now go to Gmail and click on settings at the top right corner of the screen and then select "Accounts and Import"
• Then click "edit info" in "Send Mail as"  section.
• Select the radio button which says "your name in Google accounts"
• Click "save changes" and your display name will be changed!  

The changes may not occur as fast as your name changes in your chat box. Please wait and see the magic!
