The Galaxy Nexus is Google's First Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The newer version of Android offers a pretty sweet design and is a lot more appealing than older versions. The Galaxy Nexus has a high resolution 1280px X 720 px screen, 1.2 GHz dual core processor and the standards such as 3G, Wi-Fi etc. The camera although only 5 MP does deliver good output. Rooting the Galaxy Nexus is pretty much straight forward and only requires 3 steps.



How To Root Galaxy Nexus

  1. First thing you need to do is download and install the software necessary to root your Galaxy Nexus. Download the setup file from here. After that install the software. Do not plug in your Galaxy Nexus yet. Now run the software and click on Drivers. Wait for the installing of Drivers to finish. Follow on screen instructions in order to complete the installation. That's it that the end of step one.
  2. Now just make sure you have backed up your data. if you already haven't then click on Back Up Apps + Data. After that just click on Unlock, to unlock your phone.
  3. Now to root your phone just click on Root.
