How To Jailbreak iPhone,iPad and iPod Touch on iOS 5.1 Tethered with RedSn0w

The iOS 5.1 Update has just been released and already the jailbreak is out. It is still a tethered boot only but the untethered one can be expected to be out soon. The iOS 5.1 brings a lot of updates and fixes the operating system. It is now available on most iOS devices. Anyway without much delay here is how you can Jailbreak iPhone , iPad and iPod Touch on iOS 5.1 with tethered boot. Sadly the process doesn't work as yet on iPhone 4S or the iPad 2.

How To Jailbreak iOS 5.1 on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch with Redsn0w

1. First make sure you have already updated your iOS device. If you haven't already done it then install the update with iTunes. Make sure that your iTunes is also well updated to prevent any errors in the process.
2. Using iTunes please backup your iOS device.
3. Next download Redsn0w from here.(Win/Mac).
4. After running Redsn0w click on Jailbreak and Install Cydia. Put your iOS Device into DFU mode by following the instructions in the setup wizard and after that click on Next.
5. Then click on Extras and select Just Boot for Tethered Boot.
