Install Galaxy Blaze Modem on T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II

Developer MasterSlave over at XDA has pulled the Modem Off the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G and it can now be flashed onto T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II. The developer claims that the new modem has helping him get speeds of 4 Mega bits per second. It can be installed on Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich running Galaxy S II. Although the Samsung Galaxy Blaze Modem is supposed to bring much better speed to your device it does depend largely on your Network although T-Mobile does offer good speeds in most places. Anyway below is how you can flash the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G modem to your T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II.

  1. First thing that you need to do is Enable USB Debugging. Go into Settings Then Applications then Development. Then Enable USB Debugging.
  2. Next you will need to download the files you need to flash on to your device in Recovery Mode. If you are using Ginger Bread then download this file. If you are using Ice Cream Sandwich download this file.
  3. Next copy this files to your device SD Card. Now Unplug your device and Switch it Off. Now you need to boot into Recovery Mode. To do that Press Home Power and Volume Up Button and hold till you see Samsung Logo. Let go of them for a second and then again hold to enter into Recovery Mode.
  4. Now just select Install zip from SD Card and select the zip file you coped in step 3. Now just wait for the process to finish and then Reboot. That's it.
Now you have successfully installed the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Modem on your Samsung Galaxy S II. If you have any doubts in the procedure feel free to comment.
