The Micromax Funbook has been unveiled in India. It has a 1.2 GHz processor, Android ICS 4.0.3 and more. It is also very cheap considering that it comes for Rs. 6499 with all of it's features. Rooting the Micromax Funbook is not yet tested but it works on similar Android Tablets running ICS 4.0.3.

The Micromax funbook has been built to excel at helping you learn or entertaining you after long hours of study. Starting from the latest Android OS – the Ice cream sandwich, powered by a 1.2 GHZ processor and an inbuilt memory size of 4GB NAND, the Micromax funbook has been made to excel at every task its handed.Below is a a detailed list of the tablet's specifications.
- First thing you need to do is download this SparkyRoot.apk from here and install it.
- Next after running the app click on Exploit.
- If you have anything that you want to backup then you should do it before proceeding as the process will cause loss of data.
- Now just click on Install Super User and then Clean Up.
That's it. This is the only process available right now. As soon as a better one is found by developers I will update the post. Comment on whether the process worked for you.

It is rooted by default ( su binaries pre-installed) so no rooting is required . Just install super user app from market .
