Samsung Galaxy Y is one of the cheapest Android phones out in the market with a 826 MHz processor. XDA's senior member sgy.creed has managed to port MIUI rom to Samsung Galaxy Y. However this version is not originally meant for Galaxy Y. But testers and developers can take a look at this beautiful ROM. Please don't try this if you are new to Android and haven't heard of the terms that are used in this post. This version is currently under development and we are not responsible for any damage caused to your phone.
Here is how to Install MIUI ROM on Galaxy Y
1. Download the zip file from here.
2. Copy the zip file to the root folder of your phone.
3. Install Clockwork Mod Recovery (CMW) if you haven't installed it before. You can find details on how to install it from this post.
4. Reboot into CMW.

5. Select the zip file which you have copied to the root of your device. Use Volume button to navigate in CMW.
6. Install the file and you are done.
7. If the ROM is too buggy for you, then you can try the patch here.

ola eu sou um testador ,testei essa rom miui porem os resutados nao sao muito bons quando iniciada depois da tela padrao do samsung y fica escuro,mas depois de 1 minuto a rom funciona com os seguinte bugs :proçesso com android close forçar fechamento,nao pega audio ,gps, bluethot,wifi,quando bloqueado a tela enves de ficar preta fica branca,eu concegui intalar aplicativos com suçeço mas quando instalo jogos que vai abri los sempre volta para a tela anterior nuca abre tem bug tambem ,quando instalei o patch.zip ficou pior pois trava direto nao da pra faser esatamente nada,fica so na tela de bloqueio totalmente lento ou travado,valeu galera
